The new theme is...
Brought to Life
For this challenge your icons should feature animated characters. Icons can show any animated characters whether from fully animated media or live-action/animation fusion where only some characters are in animated form like Paddington, Alice Through the Looking Glass, Guardians of the Galaxy, His Dark Materials and various live-action movies & TV shows including many with animated dragons or dinosaurs.
All animated characters are allowed whether they are from traditional animation, CGI, video games, puppetry (eg. Jim Henson's Sesame Street, Muppets & Creature Shop) motion-capture animation of real actors where their face & body are animated (eg. Gollum in The Lord of the Rings trilogy), stop-motion (Coraline, Wallace & Gromit) and animatronics (Jurassic Park).

For the live action/animation fusion media, non-animated characters can be included with the animated characters, too. If you need some ideas for characters from live-action films, do a search for cgi characters in movies or something similar & you should find lots of stuff.
