Alphabet Pass-It-On

Alphabet icon pass-it-on was the winning poll option.

Special Rules:
▪️ Make 1 icon each time of the current letter of the alphabet that is following the previous icon posted by someone else. We will go through all 26 letters (A-Z) and back over again in an endless loop until it ends!
▪️Enter up to 20 times per person.
▪️ You must wait until one other person has taken a turn (posted an icon) before you take another turn.
▪️If you have made an icon for a letter but missed the chance to post, you'll have to wait for the letter to come back around.
▪️ Please match letters in this way: The letter must be the first letter of a title word that is not an article (the, a).
For movies or shows with different parts and titles the second part of the title may be used as instead of the first titles.
Example: Star Wars: The Phantom Menace (Episode I) could be used for the letters" S" or "P."
▪️For names - the first letter of the first or last names may be used.
Example: Frodo Baggins could be used for the letters "F" or "B."
▪️ If you do not want to use names or titles of things (fandoms), you may use any nouns. Proper nouns (names) or common nouns like banana, mountain or ukulele.

I needed to view the icons in an organized table & DW scrapbook images do not display offsite in the table generators, so I put together a table with all the icons in chronological order. Since I had it halfway done I made a showcase table of all the beautiful entries & creator names in a rainbow row!

The new theme is...
Rainbow Pass-it-On 2

For this challenge, as suggested by

goodbyebird , we can once again play next color pass-it-on with the seven hues of the rainbow!
This time we can use the modern rainbow not the Newtonian one. So we combine blue and indigo and add cyan after green!

These are the seven colors:

1. Red, 2. Orange, 3. Yellow, 4. Green, 5. Cyan, 6. Blue, 7. Violet (Purple)

Special Rules for Challenge 164:

Make 1 icon each time of the current color that is following the previous icon posted by someone else.

Please follow the order of rainbow colors above, going from 1-7.
That's red through violet and back over again in an endless loop!

Enter up to 21 times per person.

If you have made an icon for a color but missed the chance to post, you'll have to wait for the color to come back around.
The Dreamwidth server has been wonky lately so you may have to refresh your browser to see the latest posts.

Other:

Purple isn't a spectral color but it's close to violet to human eyes, so we can use either for violet.

It is not required to add the words in parenthesis to your subject lines or posts, those are just for clarification of the color differences.

You don't need add the full challenge title (rainbow pass it etc) in your subject line, unless you want to, the color name alone will be okay.

It's another sequel, but with something different!
In this challenge, you make an icon using the previous person's screen cap or image, and then provide a new screen cap or image of your own.
If you missed the last one, see how it works under the challenge 85 tag and 120 tag.
This challenge is the same as those, once again, copied & pasted.
With one difference, all pictures should be characters & scenes from television shows or movies!

The new theme is...
Pass-It-On: Colors
(Crayola Crayons Edition)

This challenge is a pass-it-on style color challenge.
You pick the color which has to be used by the next person who takes a turn after you.
To make it easy, we'll only pick colors only from the Crayola brand crayon swatches I collected below.
There are over 100 colors here with fun color names!

This works just like next picture pass it on but with colors.

When you take a turn and then want to pass on a new color you must choose one from the color lists supplied here, and put the color name & number into your post.

When you want to make a icon you can then reference this post to view the color.
Completed icons do not need to be exactly matched to the color codes and your icons can have other colors, too.

Special Rules & Info:

You may enter up to 20 times but you must wait until one other person has posted between your turns.

Please, include in your post the name & code of the palette you are leaving as the next color.

Example: Next Color: Sheen Green #8FD400

When taking a turn, please choose a different color name to pass on, than the one you have just used yourself.

Missed a Color?

If you're late with an icon and the color has passed by, you may enter the icon you have made for the color by commenting to this challenge post with the late icon. The late icon can then be in the voting competition.

However, you may only do this six times in total (and it counts towards your 20 entries it's not additional turns).
Please include the name of the color that you missed earlier, so I know what the late icon is for.

Different Voting

Voting will be different since the time to make your icon is limited when trying to catch a color.
It will be only for main placements only First through Third (or more places).

But this depends on the number of participants and icons entered.
If less than three people enter, or less than 5 icons in total are entered, voting will be cancelled.

Challenge Post
This weeks theme/prompt is : Rainbow Pass-it-on

We haven't done this in a wee while, but in this challenge, each icon submitted should follow the pattern of R-O-Y-G-B-I-V. So one person might post a red icon, the next icon that should be posted is orange and so, on so forth. While it might be difficult to be sure you get in at the right time, the colour for the icon you've created will come around again. You can make as many as you like for this challenge, and it will run for three weeks instead of two.

The colours are Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo & Violet. For those that aren't sure, indigo has more blue than red, and violet has more red than blue.

This challenge is a lot different to our usual challenges, but in my experience can be really fun. In this challenge, you make an icon on the previous persons screencap or image, and then provide a screencap or image of your own. First Screencap Follows:
