Sure, I'll add a new name tag for you now. I think you have most recently had me add thewizardofoz account name tag, as well. You may tag your older posts with your new name if you'd like. I don't mind if people want to use different user names at different times. As long as people don't use puppet accounts to cheat by voting for themselves in the icontests or entering multiple times under different user names. Otherwise, it's no problem if you'd like to use different names. :)

Edit: I just double checked the community settings, to be sure if you could add tags to posts while being logged in as a different account, and you should be able to because it's set to "All members" may add existing tags to posts.

Ah, that's right! Forgot about that. Yeah for some reason dreamwidth doesn't like debit cards when I try to use mine to get paid time or username change, so you gotta make a whole new one which sucks when you find a name you really love. Thank you. :) Puppet name? Don't think I heard that term before. Ah, ok now I get it. People do that? That's freaking weird. Name changing is so time consuming unless you are actually using it, I find it baffling people would do that for votes.

YW! :) In the old days of LJ icontests, I remember some mods said "no sock puppets" for voting. I can't remember which community it was. I think I copied it, and I used to say that myself in the voting posts, but it was never a problem so I stopped. A lot of people have their general accounts and other accounts as RP game accounts with character names.

That's crazy! I used to be in a lot of 20in20's on LJ back in the day, then came here and made my own few. I never heard that term till just now or heard of people doing that, I just always heard 'don't vote for yourself' in all them'. My favorite back then was character20in20, it was the longest community i was in. I never could get into rping on dreamdwidth or lj back in the day, always did so in chats when we had them in the aol days. Wow, I sound old lol.
