Yay for more Almost Human icons! My current one was getting quite the work-out, so it's awesome to have more! Dorian! Kennix! MALDONADO! 14 & 15 are awesome! And 29! Perfect text and expression on all of them! And the colouring and cropping on 19 is fantastic!

Plus Murdoch Mysteries! I don't think I can choose; I love them all!

And the non-fannish ones are great too! I love that plane icon! And the snowman! And all of them, really!

OMG these are amazing!! LOVE 34--I've been playing around with that technique lately, but haven't quite gotten it yet. Yours is flawless.

I stumbled onto it. You can see an earlier less well executed version in #21. I'd recommend a full torso shot - The base wasn't touched much, duplicated it and put a Gaussian Blur of 4px and set to Soft Light. Added a curves layer until it looked like it was under plastic and then added text.

Nice, thanks for the tip! Yeah that's totally what I've been struggling with: the ratio of image and 'distance' balanced with the width of the text. :)
