The way my heart jumped at the unexpected sight of F1 icons! These are all so gorgeous, but I think 2 and 3 are probably my favourites. The lighting on that Lewis icon is gorgeous!

I think calling myself an anything iconner is generous; it's not something I do often any more, and never with much finesse! But I do love F1 and so rarely see it represented in icon communities, so if you're coming in to rectify that situation I'm delighted to see it! Especially because your work is so so nice—I just saw the monthlyinspo icons you have posted on your journal and they are (•̪ o •̪) so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your stuff!

Yeah, I haven't iconed in forever, and didn't imagine I'd ever get back into it. It's the first time I actually take a moment to think about each icon though lol. I used to do huge batches of so-so icons, now it's almost like pulling teeth getting 1 right. But the results are so much more satisfying, so!

Be prepared for lots of F1 drivers! Who are you rooting for? I don't hate anyone so I won't bite, promise! I'm mostly a Gasly fan, but it's been...a rough season. But Lando and Lewis are the easiest to icon for me, for some reason.

I'm not much of a hater (lmao), though there are a couple of drivers I'm a little less fond of, hahaha. When I first started watching I randomly selected a driver to be a fan of, and that ended up being Bottas back when he was still in Williams! So I still stand by him no matter what, hahaha, and I don't regret it for a single moment. But I love so many of them, honestly. Lewis is always going to be a special one. Lance Stroll is a good lad. I want to see Perez do well in that haunted second Red Bull seat. Zhou, Yuki, the ever-loveable Danny Ricc—the list goes on! I miss Seb every single day :(

You have my sympathy re: Gasly's season so far, oof. I assume you've probably heard this before, but the french commentary on Gasly's first win is still one of my absolute favourite F1 moments of all time;;!

Ohhh I've only gotten into F1 last year (sometime right before silly season) so I think I've missed a lot of 'bad' moments with some drivers. I hope I am not rooting for sb super problematic...

I honestly don't know much about Bottas. The commentary rarely seem to talk about the Alfa Romeos (until last weekend, I suppose). Bottas looks real good in your icon there ;)

I'm surrounded by Max and Lance haters lmao, it's good to know that Lance is actually a good lad, he seems very nice despite what people say about his driving skills. And Checo :( poor guy had a good chance before Monaco. I wonder what happened.

I want Gasly to do well in Alpine! It sucks that they've had SO many double DNFs this season - which some people thought would be the case because of the Gasly-Ocon uhh 'rivalry' (which eh, that's just drama, they seem pretty chill). And thank you for sharing that, cause I didn't know about the French commentary -- I don't have access to it. But o m g the feels, the commentator is out of breath and so am I. I am French so it's absolutely uplifting. Made my day!
