Date: Monday, 17 January 2022 19:12 (UTC)I was extremely pleased with the coloring of 3 after only doing "Shadows-Highlights" and "Levels." I didn't have to do much more adjusting with the other usual photo improvement steps. Too bad we weren't doing "vivid colors" or "oversaturation"! :D

Date: Tuesday, 18 January 2022 10:08 (UTC)RE "second guy": He's Anthony Stewart Head in the credits in the USA, Tony Head in UK credits, and Anthony Head wherever Merlin's produced/filmed. He is a warm and wonderful man. (I had the good fortune of meeting him once, and he sat and just really listened to me even though I hadn't paid/couldn't afford the money they charged to "mingle with celebrities.") He played the man in the serial Folger's/Taster's Choice/Nescafe coffee commercials (first place I saw him) in the 1980s and had every woman swooning. The next role for which I knew him was playing Buffy's Watcher Rupert Giles in the television version. I am currently enjoying watching him play Uther Pendragon as I stream Merlin, which is available on USA Prime Video, Netflix, IMDbTV(free), and others. Pendragon is the best role I have seen him in, as he has had to display the gamut of human emotion. Warning: Because Tony is a sweetie in real life, he enjoys and is very good at playing angry, ill-intended, or evil-doing characters (much like many actors who play personal opposites).
"Band Candy" is a hilarious episode where one of Giles's old teenage friends invites Chaos (the twisted deity) to put a curse/spell over the town in the form of making candy the school is selling turn all adults to their younger selves, while it has absolutely no effect on youth other than profusely confusing them at why their parents are telling them, "Don't be such a square," and their teachers are taking over their hangout and asking if they have any weed. It's also the episode where we get to hear Tony Head's actual accent, as opposed to the "proper English" one he puts on in almost all his roles.
RE BtVS TV: LOL! Nope, my sister loved the movie but hated the TV series. She just didn't see the reason for "all the cheekbones and forehead business." Everything she hates about the TV series is every reason Joss Whedon walked off the film set because the production company had taken his idea and destroyed it. Several years later, he was able to sell it to first the WB, and then UPN, the way he wanted it done. The rest is history. I tried watching the film and thought it was incredibly fake and jokey for something that was supposed to be a salute to Joss's single mother/waitress struggling to get them through life (as well as his struggle through high school and college). The TV series used Olympic Medalist gymnasts and martial artists for all the fight scenes. I doubt very seriously the film did.
Probably more info than you ever expected/wanted. My mom's family nickname was "Running CommenTerri" because that was before Asperger's syndrome was discovered. Now that I've been diagnosed, her entire family is chiming in with, "Yeah, I think I have that!" LOL!
