the current run is pretty great, actually.

It's written by kelly sue deconnick and she's GREAT. but also there are like 15 issues so far? So its not to hard to catch up on. She ties her Carol into the current Avengers Assemble run too.

yeah it is. before this she was Ms Marvel. I haven't read anything from her Ms Marvel stuff, but i have read stuff where she's in Avengers-related comics.
