First things first: thank you to all who participated in the last challenge! Such a wealth of gorgeous icons! *is proud*

Challenge Post
This weeks theme/prompt is : VINTAGE

I've left more examples and some ideas under the cut ;)

Basically, you have to "age" the subject of your icon. You can use textures, fonts, brushes, or frames; you can go look for screencaps/pics that are set in a different time than the present; you can use pics where the subject wears something from, for example, the 1960s; some software programs have presets (for example, PhotoScape has "Camera Effects"; Picasa has, at least, the LOMO Effect; I bet there are similar ones in whatever program you use); and last but not least, you could "age" your icon by using black & white/sepia coloring.

Heeey!Thanks for using one of my icons as examples!Looking for inspiration icons for a post is always the most time consuming bit and hard to find when you need,lol!Good work!

Thank you! Yeah, though I had them all saved before (I'm, more or less, collecting gorgeous icons XD), so instead of going through all your journals, I only had to go through my hard drive. But considering I did this for the very first time, I like to think I really did a rather good job.
