Black Sails is amazing, too. Everything people said about it is true: the first season mostly sucks and is more boring than anything else (plus has a lot of gratuitous nudity), and the second season is THE BEST THING I HAVE SEEN IN YEARS.

This is pretty much what everyone else told me, while encouraging me to give it a go. It has a tendency to break your heart, too. *g* I am very much in love with it right now, and would totally recommend watching it.
