There is random (not themed) collection of graphic design resources in this post.
Seventeen textures, stock backgrounds and ten typefaces.
Each icon entered in this challenge must contain at least one of the resources.

If you'd like to try making complex or extra fancy icons, for this challenge we'll be voting on special category Best Composition.

Note: Please include which texture (by number) you have used in your icon if the texture is not easily visible (used as overlay etc).

You're welcome. :) Oh, I didn't think of that there is an icon maker with that name on LJ. I was just picking some random fandom related fonts.

I forgot to put this in the entry, if I want to make some icons to be in the voting I should have someone pick my textures to show I didn't make them in advance.
If you have time, would you pick seven textures for me?
I probably won't be using fonts.

Those are great thank you! :) But I meant that I need someone to pick from this challenge post, so I can do the same challenge as the others for voting.

Ooh i just saw the lumie font, thanks! I'll use that for sure. Probably for a sigtag. :D

Well, I don't know how to keep it fair. I was going to use the online Randomizer to pick but then I still could have made icons before hand & not within the same time limit. I don't think it's fair for me to have other resources than the ones everyone else has to use. I'll use the ones you picked by number to make icons & just skip the voting for this one, I guess that's the best way.
