The new theme is...
Mermay

This is a Mermay inspired challenge! You must use the mermaid-related palettes or fonts on your icons.
The photo palettes are really just nautical, so we'll have to pretend.
This challenge is exactly like Pumpkin Patch from last year except there is a third, fandom icons option.

Since Mermay only comes around once a year, we can enter up to SEVEN (7) icons this time!

The three options are as follows:

Option 1. Pick-A-Palette

Pick one (and only one) of the five palettes below and create up to seven icons using the palette colors.

Please, include in your post the number of the palette you chose.

Option 2. Fun With Fonts

Choose one or more of the dozen fonts & use them on your icons.


Option 3. "Mer" Movies, TV Shows & Games (Fandoms Only)

For this option, you don't have use any of the palettes or fonts.
Instead, you must make icons of characters from movies, shows or games that are actually mermaids, selkies, or other imaginary aquatic peoples.
At the bottom of this post are a few example characters.



Info & Rules

❇️ Create up to up to SEVEN (7) icons based on the given theme/prompt/topic.
❇️ You may use any fandoms. TV series, cinema/movies, comics, video games, actors & actresses of your favorite fandoms, pop music, fashion or sports.
Stock photos/photography, illustration. Please, no real world political or religious topics.
❇️ Icons are 100x100px, 60kb or less.
❇️ Icons entered must be new for the challenges, and made by you.
Icons should be all new for iconthat & not previously posted elsewhere for any other challenges or blogs.
❇️ Please post your icons as a new post to iconthat.
❇️ Tag posts with your username & challenge numbers if you can.
❇️ Ask any questions below.

Tips:
Icons do not have to be one color, as long as the palette colors are visible on the icons.
The icons don't have to be exactly matched to the color numbers/hex codes.

Other challenge details:

Using both a palette and the fonts is not required, you may choose either a color palette or the fonts.
If you choose the third option, your icon subjects are limited to only specific "Mermay" fandom subjects.
You are allowed to mix & match the options but not the color palettes themselves, you must stick with one color palette if that is the only option you choose.

However, you could choose two or all three options. For example: make one color palette icon, two font icons and one icon of Ariel.
