The new theme is...
Ghostly

For this challenge your icons should evoke a ghostly, dreamy atmosphere. Create icons with pale, faded colors, figures floating far away through mist or fog. Or add some dust, smoke and double exposure effects and mysterious phosphorescent lights like will-o'-the-wisps. Or show figures & faces in spooky shadows, turning transparent or disappearing into light or darkness.

This theme is mostly about creating an atmosphere in your icons, the subjects do not have to be about actual ghost stories in any way.
Since this theme encompasses a lot of things, I included 24 beautiful icons for examples & inspiration behind the cut.
